I like very much to keep my hotkeys organised so that they are grouped together in similar categories, as the game progresses an more and more abilities are unlocked and added to the hotkey lists more or less randomly my previous layouts become cluttered and confusing, I end up with multiple entries of the same skills in the hotkey list, and the inability to remove the clutter is annoying and confusing.

It would be really good to add For preference a window in which all the hot keys are listed, and abilities can be moved about between them and individual hotkeys can be cleared. Or if that is too much to ask right now. a "clear hotkey" ability on the bottom of the Use talents menu, so you can bind it to any hotkeys you wish to empty out.

For the user interface, if it's possible, I'd suggest hovering over the hotkey in the lower right part of the screen and pressing the Delete key.

Hmm, more a comment on greycat's suggestion, but I can see use in hovering over the map, then pressing a hotkey or something to loose an arrow or spell in that direction.
