I don't know which one is better: stumbling around while blind (and walking into something), or sitting still while blind (and something walks into you).

I don't see anything wrong with the current behavior.

It isn't necessarily something you want, either. If you have telepathy, blindness isn't as much of a problem as it could be, so finding yourself sitting around when you really just wanted to regain your mana would be kind of annoying. Maybe "rest until all status effects are gone" could be made into a game option, but it shouldn't be the default behaviour.

Or pressing 'R'est while at full bars would make you rest until all status effects were gone, perhaps?
