Personally I'd rather just see the window be dynamically resizable - the game would then resize contents based on the size of the window. I played for a little while on my netbook last night, which has a 1024x600 monitor. As the smallest res for TE4 is 600 on the Y-axis, between a single panel and the window decoration (using GNOME for the time being) a little bit was cut off.

Well, not quite widescreen, but... 1440x900 would be nice.

If dragging is enabled, then I guess it's moot, but 1366x768 is the laptop I'm using's optimum resolution.

My desktop monitor at work (wide screen) is at 1920 x 1200, but that is a bit excessive for most people I think.

Most 22" 16:10 monitors (mine included) have an optimal resolution of 1680x1050.

1600x900 or 1440x900 would be nice, custom and on the fly resizing would be awesome

Might I suggest the inclusion of most full-screen resolutions and a setting to reposition the window correctly over the entire screen? So it looks like fullscreen, but is actually a fullscreen window. I've only seen it in a few apps, but its INCREDIBLY convienient for alt-tabbing, esp if the app doesn't have hectic requirements.
If they have a problem with windowed fullscreen, they can always go actual fullscreen instead.

2560x1600 would be lovely, as its my native resolution and anything lower looks a bit yucky
