ToME: the Tales of Maj'Eyal

I'm looking to do another let's play recorded run of the AoA campaign. Specifically though, I plan to do it with the Drem as I have yet to play that race. I'm wondering what classes work best with them though so I figured I'd drop this here to get some ideas.

I'm not an expert, but I think it works best with classes that have some high-impact talents on longer cooldowns. I'd guess things like Brawler, Writhing One, Wyrmic, maybe Paradox Mage. And of course Stone Warden can only be Dwarf or Drem, so Drem is the overall stronger option there.

Someone noted that they would like to see a Cultist of Entropy played - never played that class yet so I have no clue what to expect from it. Any Synergy?

Cultist might be a good fit. I have limited experience with it, so it's hard to say. One thing to keep in mind with CoE is that they need to build insanity to pay for a lot of their talents, so there's some amount of ramp-up in combat apart from the cooldowns. Double-casting Black Monolith would let you generate a good amount of insanity at the start of a fight though.

Insanity is easier to manage on Writhing One since they have multiple strong initiator talents that build insanity: Foul Convergence, Carrion Feet, Tendrils Eruption. Drem would allow doubling up on any of those, plus doubling up on the AoE stun from Terrible Sight.

Personally I'm interested in doing a Drem Wyrmic run. My very first win was an Anti-Magic Dwarf Wyrmic. Obviously a Drem Wyrmic can't get the Anti-Magic tree without destroying Kroshkkur and removing the starting Runes, although it might be interesting to play one just to get the "The True Coward" achievment.
