Rime Wraith Interaction Clarification
Posted: Fri Sep 24, 2021 4:46 pm
After messing around with Rime Wraith in the Necromancer tree, I've noticed the Ghost dies off if the host it is currently in dies. The description calls the wraith "an intangible creature." From that, I'd assume that if the host dies, it would simply hop to the next target. Unfortunately, it does not and is cleared as if it was a simple debuff. Is this intended behavior? It seems a bit odd to me since you can't control the jumps and if it jumps to something weak, you'll lose it even though it should last another 20ish seconds. If this is actually a bug, please move to the Bug forum. Thanks!

Description
You summon a Rime Wraith inside of you, an intangible creature, that haunts both foes and allies for 11, 14, 17, 20, 22 turns.
Every turn the wraith will select a new target and jump to it.
When the wraith enters a creature they are covered in hoarfrost for 3 turns:
if friendly: increases cold resistance by 12%, 18%, 24%, 30%, 34%, converts all damage done to cold and increases cold damage by 14%, 20%, 26%, 30%, 34%.
if hostile: reduces cold resistance by 6%, 9%, 12%, 15%, 17% and move 22%, 29%, 35%, 40%, 45% slower
When selecting a target the wraith prefers one that is not affected by hoarfrost if possible.
