Cannot update the game

For several patches already, this issue happens. But now I can't even get a fresh download and have it work. I still see "patches available" and this bug happens. I have 8gb ram and unlimited page file. But it still says not enough. File attached with error message

Pretty sure the launcher is a lost cause and isn't recommended. You can download the files on the website directly.

Error message may be incorrect. Have you tried running the launcher in Administrator Mode?

As I said, when I download directly, I still get this "11 patches". And error.

Always running as admin, just manually tried, same message

That can't be right.
Even if it was a fresh download of v1.7, there would only be 2 patches, and technically you don't need them to run the game.
