Explaining Arcane Shield (and how to best use it)

For Arcane Shield to trigger you need to have it sustained and then a variety of direct heals will cause it to create/boost a shield.

But which things can trigger it? Here is a list of talents etc that trigger Arcane Shield:

Celestial/Healing Light
Celestial/Judgement (only if healing > 100, typically requiring talent level 5+)
Chronomancy/Age Reversion
Corruption/Fearfeast
Corruption/Surge of Power
Corruption/Worm Walk
Psionic/Conversion
Psionic/Inhale Vapours
Psionic/Realign
Psionic/Trance of Well-being
Spell/Arcane Reconstruction
Spell/Consume Soul
Spell/Life Tap
Spell/Undeath Link
Steamtech/Embedded Restoration Systems
Wild Gift/Heal
Wild Gift/Nature's Equilibrium
Wild Gift/Nature's Touch
Wild Gift/Rockwalk
Wild Gift/Swallow

Prodigy/Fungal Blood

Infusion/Healing

Taint/Devourer

Orc/Pride of the Orcs
Skeleton/Reassemble

Artifact/"Tree of Life" (if you are not undead)
Artifact/"Twisted Blade"
Artifact/"Goedalath Rock" (on melee hit)

Tinker/Healing Salve
Tinker/Life Support

ego/of Healing

What about these two?
Celestial/Bathe in Light
Celestial/Weapon of Light

They can both trigger an extra boost fromArcane Shield, IFa single heal amount is greater than 100. But both talents are limited by only being to boost a shield 20 times.

That is a very comprehensive answer. Thanks! (Seems like you're getting quite comfortable with code-diving, that's got to be very helpful in answering these kind of abstruse interaction questions.)

I vaguely remember Age Reversion (or Body Reversion?) but don't see it in the wiki. Am I staring right at this and missing it, or was that cut with the update to Chronomancy?

Otherwise, looks like none of the round-in-round-out options are going to trigger it, so that's a no for the Demonologist and Sun Paladin heal-on-hitting or getting hit skills.

Bathe in Light can proc it (and Fungus) if you can get the heal ticks to reach 100 before healmod. Which is pretty much impossible I think :D

Celestial/Judgment also checks that value before healmod right?

Yes, which is why it doesn't trigger much. Many of these however can crit and that makes the 100 threshold much easier to reach.

Ah right, crits can help them count! I wonder if it's feasible then to have BiL + that fungus thing working together with enough crit damage and spellpower. It'd be pretty insane.
