ToME: the Tales of Maj'Eyal

I'm new to the game, got it through Steam. It's installed on two machines, and I wanted to share the save files. The Save to cloud feature is enabled, but I'm not seeing the saved games from one machine on the other.

Searching through earlier posts on the subject, I found several threads concerning problems with the Steam Cloud.

Is the Steam Cloud save feature working now?

This is something I'm wondering about too since I'm looking to get a new computer and wanting to not have to start over from zero.

I haven't heard anything about Steam cloud changes ToME-side, so I'd assume the problems still happen. Therefore avoid steam cloud saves!

What I'm doing is simply uploading my save files to a dropbox folder, so I can download to the other machine when I need to. works fine that way.
