ToME: the Tales of Maj'Eyal

Hey there, I was just wondering if there's a way to improve performance in large levels (like prides or that really huge vault). The game doesn't seem to use anywhere near as many resources as it could be (hovering around 20% cpu and 25% gpu usage)

for me Prides work fine but autosave takes like 20 seconds where screen is frozen and Eidolon plane (and starting level for Demonologists/Doombringers) lags to hell. Do you get problems in those areas too?

I also get the autosave thing, but for me that only happens in areas with a lot of characters, so no.

Yeah autosaves take forever for me too, it's a pain. I feel like the game saves waaaay too often but I'm not sure which options to change as the save options all have warnings saying it's not recommended to disable
