ToME: the Tales of Maj'Eyal

It's in the addon folder and enabled, but when I go to char gen it isn't in the campaign list.
Dunno what else to say. What do?

Is it turned on in the addons screen?

I had an issue like this a while ago where not being logged into my tome account blocked access from both ashes and embers despite them both being enabled. Exiting out of ToME and Steam and restarting both solved the problem, so if you haven't already tried that it might work.

After trying it on Steam, it works there, but I much prefer to use the non-steam version.
Ashes works just fine without Steam.

Did you wait for the news to load on the main menu?

If it hasn't loaded when you push New Game, it likely hasn't fully connected to the profile server.

News is loaded and scrolling by the time I get a chance to hit new game.
Other profile linked things like Stone Warden are still there in char gen.

Check the log file for a line that says:
[LOG] #LIGHT_RED#Online profile disabled(switching to offline profile) due to no online profile active.

That isn't in any of the logs.

How about: DLC not granted ?

I'm having a similar problem on a new Win 10 laptop.
I tried disabling UAC fully and that got me the Thankyou for purchasing DLC popups and allowed them.
Tested New Game again and it had finally synched my unlocks.
Upped the UAC again to see what happened and the DLCs were locked again.
Disabled UAC again and now they won't come back.

DLC not granted was there.
Disabling UAC enabled Embers, though I didn't get a thank you message.
It's still enabled after reactivating UAC, so problem solved. I'm on Win 7, for the record.
