ToME: the Tales of Maj'Eyal

Hey,

I recently continued to play with characters created in 1.3. On loading, the game displayed "Online profile disabled due to invalid module hash".
This caused two problems: first, those characters aren't updated in the character vault.
Secondly, I can't upload any items in the item vault, which fill my heart with sorrow, as I like to keep a collection of artifacts with a character.

Is there anyway to correct one or both of these problems ?

I'm currently playing on a Steam version with the latests updates, and no addons.

Well, new versions (especially major ones) usually have some save compatibility issues. That's nothing new, happens with any and all programs (not only games).

There is probably no way to fully restore your old characters, in respect to your specified problems. At the very least, you may still be able to play and finish them, but it may be better to start them anew.

Alternatively, check the Downloads section on the main site of TE4. Some old versions of the game are available there. And if 1.3 version is not available there, you probably have to contact DarkGod personally.
