ToME: the Tales of Maj'Eyal

The wiki says it adds mindpower/crit as the highest-damage weapon you wield. It does not.
One guide states it scales with the quality of the mindstars you're wielding, but switching from non-magical tier 1 mindstars to tier 3 mindstars with egos didn't change anything in the listed stats.

Does it only scale by talent level? In that case, how worth it is it? The crit rate isn't exactly huge, and neither is the mindpower buff, but they're not neglible either.

The increase for Mindpower = Talent Level x 2 (capped at 20)
And for the critical chance = Talent Level x 1.2 (capped at 14%)
Those bonus are rounded down.

Critical chance are always nice to get. But +7% for 4 generics points is not cheap.

Thanks. I think I'll skip on it then. A 1/5 for completeness sake, but that'll be more than enough.

I gotta say though, that seems the most boring skill since Thick Skin. And none of it's extreme usefulness.
