I have found that as soon as the player comes across an escort, one can save the game, and if the escort mission fails one can alt-tab out and close - and get another chance. I don't know if this is intended, but perhaps it the game autosaved upon the death of the escort, as it did with the death of the player, this wouldn't be possible.

Didn't know if this was intended or not, and it's not really a bug per se, so I went ahead and posted this here.

There are those who cheats when playing solitare card games too.

You can also exploit this to always get the kind of escort you want. I often do this because I'm very anal about builds, but am really trying hard not to these days .

If you're going to do that, just use the Succor mod.

Nah, it's more satisfactory to cheat vanilla. Not that you cannot just copy your save files and be practically immortal, but that's too weak even for me. Can something be done about this?

No, I don't think we can do anything about your weakness.
