Does the auto-jump to bottom level behavior end up killing escort quests if it skips levels that escorts were generated on?

Also, I think that this game quirk might be better to be modified so that if an escort was generated somewhere in the dungeon (Trollmire 2, for example), the game jumps to that level and not the bottom level when entering the dungeon from the world map. IMHO there's still fun to be had there, not to mention making it easier to gather up whatever escort-given abilities you need for your character plan. Escorts that insist upon partying in a group of 5 stone trolls and a unique/rare can still be interesting to try to keep alive even for over-levelled characters, at the least.

It skips escorts, but you simply get the escort when you go to that level. Let's say an escort on Trollmire 2 gets skipped because you did the Thalore dungeons first. If you kill Prox, kill Bill, and then do the rest of your quests without ever going to Trollmire 2 until you come back from the East, he'll still be there and you can get your escort reward. This has actually happened to me.

It will only skip an escort quest if you don't complete your starting dungeon before completing 2 others.

I would say that
it doesn't skip escorts cause they are none to be skipped.
cause they only roll when you enter a zone, so that they can be generated somewhere else.

Yep you are wrong. The escort quests locations are pre determined.
