Is this supposed to happen? The Cultists in Daikara started following me around. They're not hostile or allied. I didn't attack them or use any other abilities on them.

As for your question, I encountered them in Reknor and nothing came of it. They didn't follow me or anything. The only thing it reminds me of is a trick with the undead-if you attack someone with the Cloak of Deception off, then put it on, everyone who was hostile to you still follows you around, but are turned neutral.

Just a cosmetic donator perk.

Some things will follow you around but not attack you if you "aggro" them but they don't turn hostile. Fillarel comes to mind. Not sure why that happens, but it's not specific to cultists.

I'm actually a Ghoul Reaver, so that must be it. I have the Cloak of Deception on permanently from the Sher'Tul fortess but I can see that it blinks every turn, I assume turning on-and-off in a single turn.

All units have a faction and a friendly/neutral/hostile value.
When you attack a friendly/neutral mob, that value will be reduced by some amount (30-50 or something among those lines) and start following you around.

Also mobs will now have a target (your character) when they start to follow, and when in range of other mobs from the same faction, they will also start targeting you. This is what hapened in the image posted.

Or your golem, if you're an alchemist. Cultists seem to always target my golem when I play an alchemist. Might be caused by Taunt or Golem Portal, I guess.

If it's a Golem, I think it's one of it's magic sustains. One of those ruined an adventurer run for me when it aggro'ed my shadows, and they never let up, even after killing all the shadows and the Golem.

Reflective Skin? Is that the sustain?
