Aether beam "i blame description!"

so, I just died to my own Aether beam for a stupid reason(gone afk for 2 min and forgot about it being still working).
as i was thinking about it, i decided to blame description rather than myself, for 2 reasons.
1) how long does it last?
EVERY SINGLE enemy, that step into the center can break it.(does "disarm trap" work on it? 0.o)
but when you want it gone, you have to wait an untold time.
2) description does not say, whether it turn clockwise, or counter-clockwise, nor does it say where is the beam directed at the moment of casting.
even if its not a valid excuse for dying (should have seen the mark on the ground, unless it was under money, then I blame money), its still important information that should be shown, I think.
