it was only a dream (there is no hammer)

Some things just have their description written wrong.
Some descriptions make you expect something else, (like mentioned earlier t1gem from voratum gauntlets).
Some are just missing bits.
The missing bit I am thinking about is:
"the hammer only egsists for the purpose of the talent. you cannot use it outside of the specific talents"
or something like that.
When I first saw that talent I wasn't sure what to think.
the second time, I scrolled down and noticed the stats of a hammer, and that each next talent upgrade it in a different way.
I invested in that talent thinking that i would get me a dream-forged weapon, which I can attack normally.
well, turns out I can not. I can't use the hammer, without using the skills.
so great skill, turns out not so great. but wait, maybe it is still really powerful?
Lets compare it to mind seering beam.
the beam cost 5 psi, attack multiple targets in a good range, and has a 2turn cool-down. scale well alone, not requiring other talents.
hammer costs 5 psi, attack only a single target, has a normal cool-down. seems to require all the talents to be decent.
to attack multiple targets, you need hammer toss, which cost 10 psi, and while is not as fast, it has a chance to hit twice(has a chance to miss).
hammer is probably quite efficient when max'd out, but is it worth spending 20 points, when you are fine with 5?
From "missing part of description" I went to "pls change that talent"?
I think it would make much more sense, if the first talent was a sustain, even if it drained 2-4 psi each turn, while active.
those are the things, i concluded before reaching lvl 10, on my first(ish) solipsist i have ever played or seen.
if there is anyone who know solipsist really well, pls tell me how good or bad the hammer really is.
