voratum is t5, so why is this not a bug? make a guess.

right after I updated my game (still have account problems :/) I decided to open up with alchemist.
never got far with them, so it would be nice for the "fresh new start".
at some point I stumbled upon a pair of rusty voratum gauntlets.
Since they were Anty magic infused, and bonues did not fit me, and golem cant wear gauntlets, I decided to extract a gem.
And as surprising as it was in the first second, I got t1 gem.

in the next second I realized, I did not let them eat any magicl artefact...
so, because of a little rust, i get a t1 gem, out of a voratum, which is technically t5 material?
in the talent, it is sorted by material, not tier.

so I know "it would be op", but I still feel a little cheated.

well, i was able to do it before having 5 points in that talent...

Those where almost certainly the spellhunt remnants artifact, which is T1. They actually can be made into a t5 using their ability, but this is not a bug.

i am just saying, that i was a little missinformed. or atleast it was not said clearly enough that the gem is of "the same tier"
and not "appropriate to the material"

when i get the tallent it first list
[iron]
and then with each point in it, it adds material up to voratum at lvl 5, for the t5 gems.
the think is they were voratum, so it seems logical, that i would get t5 gems... well, "not clear enough"

to be sure i checkt agine in the wiki

which part of it states that my assumption was wrong?

I think this is just a case of the game not caring that technically, the gloves are Voratun. As far as it cares, they're Tier 1.

I don't see a problem making an exception to the rules here, personally, but that would require someone with the knowhow to change it. Which is a problem for me.

i asked for it to be clear, people want to make correction to game mechanics... KEEP AT IT!!

Artifacts are liberal with descriptions. Borfast's cage for instance is made out of both voratun and stralite. It's tier 3, same as dwarven steel.

Extract gems could be changed and just talk about tier levels. It would make things clearer.
