So...what's the status of moving the "DLC" to be free?

I forgot about this for some time, but I sent TB something regarding ADOM being greenlit on Steam and it totally reminded me of the idea that was put out a loooong time ago that all the Paid-For content would become free after some time:
So question about the steam version. Is it the equivalent to if I went to adom.de and paid to have access to the pre-release builds?
I think there needs to be some kind of incentive.
ToME is a decent example. While you can download for free off te4.org, you can get the Steam version for exclusive / early content.
Now, the original premise of this a year or two ago, was this was just faster access to this content. Supposedly everything that was paid for would after some time be moved into the base version when the next new "dlc" came out.
So DLC 1, DLC2 comes out and DLC 1 moves into free version, DLC 3 comes and DLC 2 moves to free, etc.
Its a great concept. The people that truly support your game have no issue paying, those that are on the sidelines can just wait.
I say concept, because unfortunately DG has yet to actually follow through on this promise.
Makes no difference to me as I have my steam key and donated on te4.org long before steam, im just wondering where this is. Did we forget about this?

You're not talking about dlc here but about the stone warden are you ?
The orc campaign is like a new game; I'll artehr call it an expansion than a DLC since dlc is usually meant for small stuff.
As for the stone warden, I stand by it; once I've though of a new class to replace it it'll go into the main game.

Yeah, thats why I used quotes for "dlc" since they aren't really "dlc" but smaller bonus packages for donators / steam users. I know Orc's will be huge and it's been a lot of work for you to bring them into existence.
I know there have been a couple extra things so far beyond stone warden like the UI and storage vault. Were there others? I just wasnt sure if we forgot about this, or that nothing really came along yet to "qualify" as taking the place of stone warden as donator only.
And I concur with Edge here. Possessor. Do it up

Purequestion wants his demonologist. And he's adamantly holding doombringers hostage until DarkGod releases demonologist.
Based off this information, I would suggest that every pickup a weapon of choice and proceed to take turns beating DarkGod until demonologist exists. Whip, Hammer, sharp stick... Whatever fits your style, be sure to drop DarkGod some words of 'encouragement'.
That said, I think a lot of people assumed any new class would become the new 'preview' class, and that it should've become oozemancer, and now skirmisher. (I know that was my original thought).

wait wait wait...THIS is why we're waiting on Doombringer? I fuggin loved that Addon while it was still being worked on. so maybe demonologist should be priority instead...
My weapon of choice is, Pitchfork! Because I have one handy! Yes folks, I am a web developer, I am at the office right now, and we indeed have a legitimate "angry mob" pitchfork in this office complete with rust. Its a fun place to work

Never managed to possess DG on ToME 2 and while it might not happen on ToME 4 either it doesn't make me not have wet dreams about the class.
