Addicting addon adventures?

I'm curious, do most of us use a ton of addons while we play?
Because I've frequently found myself using enough to
a) Crash the game accidentally, or
b) Make me feel really guilty about departing from the "vanilla" game.
I just did a count, and had thirteen that I've been using pretty much every time for the last month... Am I the only one?

Z-Omnibus, Breedings Pits, and my own are always on, so that's seven as a base, and then probably that many again that I cycle through (to avoid conflicts) depending on what race/class I'm playing.

My own are usually on.
Marson's are usually on.
Several of StarKeep's are usually on.
A couple of Grayswandir's are usually on.
i500 is almost always on.
zOmnibus is always on.

I generally swap between "every addon I can get my hands on" and "just ui mods" as my mood dictates.

Always running - I500 (NEVER TURN THIS OFF. ANYONE.), Stone Wardens, Items Vault (despite never having used it...), Draconian, Arcanum Classpack, Nullpack, Midnight Classpack, Dwarven Adventurer, Faster Adventurer Levelup (Integrate this!), Orc Breeding Pits Restoration Project, Infinite Farportal, Tower Defense, NewGems, Vulcus, Monk, Opt-In Adventurers (Because silly instagib traps are stupid).
Often running - Turtles, Trolls, Grayswandir's weapon pack, Beholder, Faeries.
Occasionally, running others as I discover them, or am pointed at them.

Faction Allies, Marson's Autoexplore and Rest tweaks and Faster Adventurer Level up are always on. Rest is situational.

huh, I've never actually used one (besides the couple included).
Might have to try Zomnibus and i500 though as now that I'm looking at them they sound pretty nifty.
Any others that are must have?

I wholly recommend Faction Allies, if you've won the game a few times already. It adds a little variety to the final boss fight, so it's not so same-face every run. (Also, while I'm shamelessly tooting my own horn, Dwarven adventurer if you're a donator)
I rather recommend arcanum and verdant for the classes involved, though both need an update before being played in 1.2.0 or 1.2.1
Tower Defense is a very interesting alternative game mode, and deserves some attention.
I also WHOLLY recommend 'faster adventurer levelup'. Because it saves sooooo much time, and makes the adventurer levelup screen so much easier to navigate and read.

We both recommend this one, then.
Never mind that I won't even use the Adventurer+ addon because the above one doesn't affect it.
And look! There's six again, from one recommendation!

I've updated Arcanum, working on Verdant now.

Is there a reason to have i500 anymore? I thought all of the features of i500 were merged back into the main ToME?

The talent/scaling rebalance was incorporated. Being able to level past 50 if you enter after the main campaign was not. Nor were any of the changes for players starting in the ID (such as ID based escorts)
