ToME: the Tales of Maj'Eyal

I just got a new laptop (Win 8.1) and immediately installed ToME. I'm trying to set the resolution to 1920x1080 but it keeps resetting to 1680x1050. When I try to play, the windows don't size correctly, and the toolbar is offscreen where I can't see it?

Any solutions?

Never mind. For anyone who's interested, I ran the compatibility troubleshooter and changed the high dpi settings.
