Hiii. Got a small wordpress blog started up about interviewing roguelike developers and darkgod was nice enough to be the first.
Just a little Q&A.

So enjoy.

				Good one!

I'm actually surprised that DG sleeps.

Nasty rotating saws in place of shields!
A new race of nasty foes and then .. some darker things!
Crafting!
Mix arcane forces and technology!
Take revenge on the Sunwall!
Did I mention stylish leather hats?!
DarkGod, if you turn this world into something along the lines of Eberron....
I'll probably love you more than I do. For reals. I love Eberron because there are so few worlds that mix magic & technology in a way that they are in harmony and not opposed to each other.
Magic powered machines, Steam powered magic, magic powered steam, magic powered steam machines...do it all up

Magitek was cool, I just enjoy Eberron because the world is so well built out. FF6 only had so much time to establish lore.

I think steam + magic go well together, especially with the orcs having a bit of a hackery approach to power :)
By the way, don't miss out on DarkGod's latest teaser statements about the orc campaign:

Just remember that most machines rely on the laws of physics working in their normal fashion.
So don't mess with those too much. Unless you made your machine require it.
