Hi, newcomer to the game and thought I'd show off my ToME inspired forum sig.

If anyone else wants one just let me know.

The sig isn't being hosted on your server.Xandor Tik'Roth wrote:Being a low-bandwidth forum sucks sometimes.
Understandable, which is why users are given the option to disable sigs in their individual forum preferences.Faeryan wrote:Nice looking one, though I generally dislike signatures that take up more space than the post it comes with.
In long threads with big signatures they tend to use up quite a lot of pages.
I thought we don't do signature images because signature images usually suck?Xandor Tik'Roth wrote:While I really like the sig, we don't do images in signatures. Being a low-bandwidth forum sucks sometimes.
Think about it how even you could have a snazzy picturesque signature linking to your site.Grey wrote:I thought we don't do signature images because signature images usually suck?Xandor Tik'Roth wrote:While I really like the sig, we don't do images in signatures. We've never done sig images (or avatars, for that matter) in the 11 years that I've been here. We don't get a ton of server space and not everyone who comes here has an excellent internet connection. This is a simple forum, and images would start to clutter things up.Grey wrote:I thought we don't do signature images because signature images usually suck?Xandor Tik'Roth wrote:While I really like the sig, we don't do images in signatures. What, no way.Xandor Tik'Roth wrote:We've never done sig images (or avatars, for that matter) in the 11 years that I've been here. If a picture speaks a thousand words then that, sir, is a strongly worded essay listing all that is wrong with allowing picture sigs on forums!Doctornull wrote: I just finished hand-painting my own awesome sig image.
I for one prefer non sig. messages. Sigs. waste screen space - less is More.Xandor Tik'Roth wrote:While I really like the sig, we don't do images in signatures. Being a low-bandwidth forum sucks sometimes.
