Mindslayer Broken Class?

So the best mindslayer I have ever made was a Ghoul two hander mindslayer I got him to level 30 with a few deaths I maxed willpower then strength "the idea was im going to have super strength, and my ghoul leap will substitute for augment mobility " the only way I could survive that long was because I had a ring of misery 200% damage attack combined with my telekinetic smash and frenzy. all auras I just left on because spiking them does practically nothing without a mindstar.
Mindslayers have only 2 activated damage abilities that are not mindstar based so why start with two handers?
Augment mobility is a waste of a category point if it wasn't needed.
Mindhook: starts off terrible, and when you level it up still quite bad. If you use it you are probably aiming it at a mage or archer who will just teleport or walk off, it doesn't even pin or, do any damage and has a high cooldown. practically useless..
Quick as though: yay time to run away -_-, it would be better if it increased attack speed too
Telekinetic leap: this one is good ^^
Shattering charge: huge psi cost bad damage might be ok at level 5
They are practically based on mindstars they have three ability trees saying use mindstars!
mindlash now has this huge cost for using this more than once
augmentation is one of the only abilities that's like hey non mindstar weapons might be ok
so again why start off with two twohanders
problems with mindstars: all mindstar abilities have large psi cost and are ranged abilities
the only way to gain psi is to get hit with your shields on or be in 1-2 squares away from some opponents
all auras and shields cost a good hunk of psi so that leaves you with crap psi.
There is no win with this class, I love the concept but it doesn't work
