Stone Warden vines don't hit

As a Stone Warden on Insane, my stone vines never seem to hit, even against opponents with mediocre saves when I have max willpower. I don't know if this is a bug or not; as someone in the in-game chat said, it sounds like a scaling issue, hopefully one that will be fixed as part of the new infinite scaling thingy.

The chance for Stone Vines to hit actually scales quite well. Talent level is more important than wil to hit and physical save is used to resist it.

Ah, I had no idea that talent level determined to-hit. That explains why I was hitting much more frequently in the late game, after I had maxed it.
Also, I retract my earlier complaint. With over 100 willpower and maxed talent level, I could hit consistently even in the late game on Insane. Mind you, I never reached the Prides - my Stone Warden bit the dust at level 47 due to being Stone Touched to death by Tannen. Bah.
