Can yo believe this? My first farportal, lvl 22 character.
I have no teleport

and no wanderer's rest
I'm in BIG trouble.....

Or if no teleport, it's a grave mistake then to not have a movement infusion (if found none, buying one from a shop is a must) before entering high risk dungeons like the farportals.
In your screenshot, a movement infusion would have saved your character as the exit is close enough so you would have not been hit.

Yes, me too. I used Eden's Guile to run as far away as I could, but to no avail. The devourers can of course jump around you. I'm not even sure a movement infusion would have saved me.

IIRC they only jump when Frenzied, and that's only possible after you're either bleeding or wounded.

I never started doing far portals before clvl 30+. Perhaps some char-combos need far portal to gain XP ever earlier?

No one really needs the portal. It is a form of farming, so dg might nerf it one day.

It already has been majorly nerfed.
I used to get myself up to level 32 before trying to rescue Melinda.

Hah! I got myself up to 35 once. Not really to save Melinda, but to "seed" the crypt as high as I could. Just out of pure curiosity.
