ToME: the Tales of Maj'Eyal

Every so often I trigger something that disables the ESC key, the spacebar, and makes movement with directional pad not work, or causes me to run instead. I have to restart to fix it. Any ideas?

Are you holding down shift (or maybe alt or crtl) which activates Windows "sticky keys" accessibility features?
