ToME: the Tales of Maj'Eyal

The Aether Permeation prodigy requires that I 'have been exposed to the void of space'. Is there any way to achieve that without playing the archmage starter zone? I'm playing as an adventurer wizard and I'd love to get that prodigy.

Yes, in fact! The Fearscape Invasion Portal, an event which randomly appears in far east dungeons, also unlocks the talent if you enter into the portal.

Doesn't the first floor of the temporal rift count too? (the one in zero-g?)

No, that one gives you the time travel flag, I think.

Temporal Rift would be the out of time location.

Does Tannen's Fearscape area count for being exposed to the void?

I don't think the fearscape from either the spell or tannen counts, just the invasion platform.

Does the wierd shertul portal achievement count?

I wouldn't think so, you are still inside.

But you can dig your way out of the ship into space...

What about the Eidolon plane?

The Eidelon plane and being fearscaped by an enemy doesn't work, but I'll keep my eyes out for an invasion portal to invade. Thanks. I was hoping that hitting myself with void blast or being hit by one of the void horror talents would do this.

Be prepared to focus on finding the portal back before you get quickly and repeatedly minced. The bad guys really don't like you taking the war to them !
