ToME: the Tales of Maj'Eyal

Pretty much title. I have the option to unlock the mobility tree (lvl 10) due to an escort. The other options didn't seem to good so I figured I'd see what was in the tree. Archers are notoriously overflowing with general points so I could fill it fairly well, though as a Thaloren filling in the 2nd+3rd racials is a bit of a sink.
One of the specific things I'm torn over is the light armor bonus (Mobile Defense); it looks really good on paper but archers can normally go heavy armor no problem, and IDK if I'd be better off with 5/5 MD and just my 2/5 Armor Training, or just 5/5 AT.
Oh, and I'm planing on going AM, if that is relevant (needs more general points I think? I've not done it before)

If you do go Antimagic, you will need loads of generics to have any better use of AM, and a Cat point to unlock Fungus. Going AM on BOW archer though, is bad idea in first place. You need Dex, Strength, Willpower, Con and Cunning. If you don't pump Will and Cun, you won't be able to learn AM talents, and low mindpower means their effect will be too small to matter (and you aren't going AM for Fungus like melee chars might want to, there is simply not enough damage to have to regen tank it as ranged char). If you give up on Str or Dex, your damage will suffer. If you give up on Con, you will lose health buffer and be generally easier to snipe by casters, which is main reason to go AM in first place I guess?

If you want AM, go Slings, no need for Str and Cun will be a lot more useful.

Either way, Mobility sucks. None of the talents have particular use for archer except for increased movement speed, but you can get without it. HnB is poors man Disengage, Mobile Defense is pointless since you won't be tanking anything (Pinning Shot etc.) and any big physical attacks will likely be blocked by low armor value, not hardiness, and Archers don't have stamina problems late game even in Massive armors for Light Foot to matter.
