ToME: the Tales of Maj'Eyal

I feel like this is a really stupid question, but I can't seem to figure out how to get my golem back after I die and respawn?

I see the icon for the golem in the upper left, but I don't actually see him in the world. When I try to right click on the golem item, I get the message "Can not give orders to this creature". And If I cast refit golem, I get the usual dialog allowing me to switch his weapon, etc.

I'm sure once someone points out what I'm doing wrong, I'll have a hand print on my forehead.

the spell that gives golem regen + dmg for a few turns, and resses it instantly if its dead, will bring fix the problem, it did for me at least

Not in 1.0...

All you have to do is rebuild the Golem before you leave the Eidolon.

Why you wouldn't do this anyway, is beyond me.
