I just died because I could not figure out how to 'release control of the projection'... can someone please tell me how to do that.

See those little portraits in the upper-left corner of the screen? They only show up when you've got multiple party members. You can click those to switch control between characters. The function keys work as well (F1 will return control to your main PC).

There is some kind of bug where you sometimes cannot relinquish control of the projection. Additionally, it sometimes hangs around even after you return to your main character and does things or gets hurt. Which hurts you. Which is a problem.
I'm assuming this is for solipsists, of course.

Only a Solopsist with dreamscape protection can do that.
Everyone else has to control a projection.

Yes, it was with a solipsist.

I did not know the extra icon on the top would allow me to release.
