ToME: the Tales of Maj'Eyal

Is there any point to this area? I've killed everything and can't explore any more. I found a bunch of pedestals but couldn't interact with them in any way... am I missing something or is that all there is to this place?

It is very relevant to the end game. The pedestals can be interacted with using the orbs of the same name.

Ah, thanks for the reply. I'm pretty close to the endgame, so that's good to know - just wanted to clear every dungeon and tie up all the loose ends before I wrap things up for good.

After you finish you get to go play in the infinite dungeon till death :p (the clues btw are in order in your log)

Be aware that the end level requires stun resistance.
