ToME: the Tales of Maj'Eyal

Boots of strife give you access to the talent blindside but no hate bar. So do they default to 0 hate or 100? Or is the game tracking my hate but not displaying it? Do they function differently for cursed & non-cursed? I guess I'll find out with a bit of testing but for people who haven't unlocked cursed yet that description probably makes little sense.

edit: functions at 100 hate by the looks of things.
