I'm not going to upvote this game without a video. That said, I hope a video is produced and uploaded, as the game could be fun.

I already paid for a key, but this game is so great and has such great features and support that I'd gladly buy it again to support the developer.

I got into this game because of the Jef Man. But I have played this over and over. If this game went on steam I would even buy it.

You should make sure to advertise the online aspects of this. The ingame chat and death messages and everything else.

Also, how far along is this? When I voted months back it had 0% of needed votes to be greenlit. I cant seem to find that number anymore though?

I've tried doing some recording myself but it's hard to get a good variety of nice-looking play. Also it's not really fun - you have to play fast with the logs off and tiles on highest res for it to look good.

Perhaps if a few of us pool together some recordings?

I tend to play fast and get myself killed a lot as a result. I suck at editing video, but I could just start recording some random bits of play (probably in Exploration mode so I can get high level / late game stuff as well). I also have a powerful PC (can record 1920x1080 in realtime on extremely demanding games without any loss of quality) and ridiculous bandwidth for uploading footage.

Is there a particular resolution footage should/needs to be?

The standard "web" resolution from camtasia is 320 x 280 I believe

That doesn't really have anything to do with the question asked, I'm not trying to stream (which I can still do at 1920x1080 anyway). Unless Camtasia is somehow related to Steam Greenlight?

I'd like to echo that. Unless it's done by a real tome4 pro, the video needs recordings from different people.

1280x720 is the standard format for youtube and what I do all of my let's play videos in.

Yeah 1280x720 at least I'd say

For any video you show I think you should make a point of showing some of the numerous options in the trees of at least a few of the classes, and maybe a quick little montage of monsters.

That's what will attract people to the game cause it's hard to tell what it feels like to play from just watching a video of it.
