I would really love to donate and support this fantastic game, but I'm not sure how I would be able to use the unlocks.

My PC is what I use to play TOME, but it is not wifi-compatible, so I have to use the Mac I'm currently using to get on the internet. Now, even with an OSX version, I have painstakingly unlocked just about everything on my PC (all of the classes anyways ). So, I was wondering if there was anyway that I can still link up an online profile to my PC's game profile so I can use the donator's unlocks? I know something like an ethernet cable would do, but this Mac book doesn't have an ethernet input...

All unlocks are available to donators and non-donators.

If you are referring to some donator only features, like Custom Tiles, exploration mode etc. Those can only be accessed while you are on line. Both of those you only need to be on-line while creating the character, after that you have the tile/exploration mode active.

IF you are referring to compatibility issues surrounding mac and PC, they should be pretty compatible. If I understand correctly, you've unlocked most classes/races on the PC which is not connected to the internet. Now you want to play on the mac?

Just copy your allow_build.profile from the PC to the mac. (Just search your home folder for that)

Oh, I didn't know you had to be online to use them. What about things like the new Stone Warden class?

It has been my experience that the donator stuff like Stone Warden class cannot even be loaded unless you are online. The addon remains inactive until you have Internet access. That makes it physically impossible to use for some people a lot of the time since Internet access is not universal and not always reliable.

To be honest, I halfway thought of ripping off the SW addon and making a copy of it in a different name so I could bypass this nonsense. But that would be theft even though I am a donator.

I am not sure why it is "wifi compatible." You can always buy a USB wifi dongle and these are quite inexpensive. But you don't need wifi cause you can always connect by a cable.

I think that should read: You cannot CREATE a stone warden on a laptop during a plan journey.

If you have the character on your computer, you can play it without logging in, I think. Just don't die with it.

Indeed. Just tried simulating it by disabling my internet after making a stoney, and was able to play it. For about 20 seconds. Then I failed to follow my advice in that last line. One horribly slaughtered warden.
