Guides on the wiki

I'm making some guides aimed at newer players for the wiki. What's standard wiki etiquette? Should I just link them to the front page, or submit it for approval/peer review?
I'd say just link them unless you want constructive feedback on them before posting.
If people want to review them or discuss differing opinions the wiki has a talk page.
