Hi,
I have a wilder with "shoot." I have a bow equipped but no arrows equipped. Notes in the WIKI say you have an infinite number of arrows at base damage if none are equipped. Yet when I try to click my 'shoot' button I get "no bow is equipped." If I equip arrows then I can shoot.
Perhaps only archer class gets shots without ammo in the bow ? Or is this wiki comment out of date?
Please explain. Arrows are not cheat and would prefer not to use them normally.

The wiki is outdated. Now you need a quiver with arrows to be able to shoot.
Anyway, do not worry, your quiver will replenish when you rest or use the reload talent.

just note that when you run out of ammo, hit reload and kite, reload gives you a permanent duration buff that reloads your quiver, anything other than movement will dispel it tho

to the second question, yes, although some quivers do (slowly) auto-reload

Well I just put reload on auto. Nothing wrong with that I trust? From a gameplay standpoint I would suggest reload be removed. Seems a relatively "uninteresting" bit of bookkeeping. Just a thought.

umm reload uses a turn when used, this is good if it reloads when you run out of ammo, but if it tries to reload after every shot...

I think the game automatically reloads if you rest or autoexplore.
