performance question - linux vs windows 7

Having had some issues with tome running slow on my computer I'm wondering about setting my computer up to dual boot. Anyone tried running tome under both OSs? Is there a difference in speed?

I haven't really noticed any, but take that with a grain of salt. I run it under Linux at home, and under Windows 7 at work, and it seems to run well under both. But my work computer is vastly superior in specs to my home laptop, so that may be affecting my results.

The slow load fix addon is useful, if you're experiencing complete stalls when loading new areas.
It fixed it for me, anyway.
