[b38] bows and slings don't always make sense

I have some issues with the new bows and slings:

1. Although the desterity requirement changes for different materials, I can't figure out if/how two identical bows in terms of features behave differently with respect to bow material. The only thing that seems to matter is the ammo, not the bow - this doesn't seem right, yet it is not clear what a better material weapon adds. There are no numbers of dmg value on the bow itself, except for bows/slings of power... which leads to my second issue...
2. Sometimes bows or slings have a "base power", typically something like 6.0-6.0. Yet when I equip these, my overal damage doesn't seem to change, and when I press CTRL to compare with any sling/bow without these numbers, the ctrl reveals that the numbers are the same on all.
3. It is not clear the relationship between attack speed and ammo speed. I seem to be able to hit a creature more often with the same bow with arrows of annihiliation with 200% ammo speed, but this is counterintuitive to me. If I fire at the same rate (i.e. attack speed), I would have thought that I can't shoot the creature any more in a set amount of time, rahter, that the arrows would hit it faster. So the ammo speed would help with faster moving creatures as it gets to them faster. So haveing this clarified would be good.
4. Eventually you work out that there are auto reloading quivers and quivers that reload faster, and some that do both. Again, I think some clarity in description could help here.

So I think greater clarity on these matters would be good.

Better materials give higher numbers from all egos.

Ammo speed is how fast it travels, fire speed is how long it takes you to shoot. If you're hitting more with higher ammo speed, it's because enemies have a lower chance of dodging.

Bow material only directly effects range that I can see, but that's kind of one of the most important stats a bow has. Nothing worse than enemies just out of bowshot.
