ToME: the Tales of Maj'Eyal

hello,i was wondering if it was possible to reset a floor in a dungeon through any means. and if so how? also in the animated background you use different and somewhat nicer looking sprites in the main menu,are those the old sprites? can i set them as my default sprites somehow? if they were removed because new sprites were made then ok,but its kinda annoying looking at sprites i would like to use being un-useable.
