ToME: the Tales of Maj'Eyal

Hello people,

First off, sorry if I break any rule by posting this question here, as you can see I am quite new around here. I saw a mention of this game on some other forum, and I must say it looks pretty cool. I am the happy owner of a macbook, though, and I was wondering if there was any plan of there being an OsX release of beta38? I saw no mention of this anywhere on the site/blog/forum, except the "Mac OsX: Soon" thing on the download page, which must be about a month old by now. I wouldn't ask that if there was no evidence of this game normally being released for mac, but since most previous release have been and there's that mention... I could also just get the previous version for now, which I might actually do, but Beta38 seemed like it was kinda solid, so I'd hate to miss on those things...

Well, thanks for anything, if only for developping this awesome-looking game (which is already a lot)!

Welcome, and no you are not breaking any rules. The guy that volunteers to compile on OSX has been really busy, so an OSX b38 will have to wait until either he has free time or someone else steps up to take over the compilation process. I do own an OSX machine, but unfortunately I upgraded to Lion and some of the ToME dependencies (mainly SDL) are much more difficult to compile on Lion. Cheers.

Well, thanks for the info If I had a more powerful machine, I'd try my hand at packaging, but alas it's a bit of a dinosaur... Hope someone can get to it sometime soonish!

Hooray! I've already submitted like six bug reports and five ideas. It's been too long. I'm really enjoying the changes to Wyrmic, subtle as they are. Also I'm thrilled to find a mastery amulet that I can actually use.
