Probably a dumb question to everyone else, so it goes here

I've played crawl stone soup, and this game looks great. I tried to download it and play it for windows. It didn't work, froze at 0%.
I don't usually have internet, so I am only interested in playing offline.
Do I really have to do all that complicated compiling stuff i read about just to be able to play the game? If so I probably won't bother. Maybe I need to download ToMe+ engine AND the source for it. I don't know.

Long story short, is it possible for me to download something, double click on it, and play the game?

Hi,

You should be able to just download from the link below, unzip to a folder and play.

Playing on windows can be hit or miss at the moment. If you dig around on these forums there's a lot of setting you can play around with to improve your chances of getting the game to run.

Just run a search on windows in the bugs forums and it should turn up some advice.
