ToME: the Tales of Maj'Eyal

So is there a version of Angband for Te4? I have been looking around for one and I keep getting back to here:

And while that talks about it I don't see anywhere to actually get it, not sure if it's old, or just an idea or what.
I know about the infinite dungeon mode, but I wanted something with a setup like Angband where there is a town to go sell yer loots at.

Anyway, I know that's probably really dumb in some way, but that's why I am posting it here. Also, I tried search to forums to no avail.

Also, another question, I see people talking about donation unlocks, doesn't donating just unlock the dark spot in your heart, and allow for custom character tiles?

Nah, earlier versions of tome had an Angband, back when it was a) based on the Angband codebase still and b) Tolkien themed.

Nowadays it's neither, Tome4 has only a very few remaining Tolkien references, and there isn't really anything with much resemblance to the angband dungeon.

The page you linked too is referring to Tome 2.

Dunno about the 'donation' unlocks.

For the donation part I think they are talking about the infinite lives mode and the custom tile thingie. You also get a green name when chatting.
