b38 gold display - stupid rounding!

In previous versions, the display that showed how much gold you were carrying showed decimals, much like the shops do in their prices. However in b38, the gold display is rounded to the nearest whole number, which means that you could see "28" in the gold display, but be unable to buy something costing 28 gold, because you really only have 27.6 gold! Can we get the decimals back in the next release, please?

I'd prefer if gold was always an integer. So the price in shops would always be whole numbers, the amount you get for selling also always whole numbers, and the amount monsters drop also whole numbers.
The reason... I like how the UI looks up there without decimals

Heh, come to think of it, me too - what the heck does it mean to have "0.1 gold pieces" anyway? Did you take the coin and break it in ten parts or something?

In general, it's odd that ToME's various number (stats, attributes, money, talent levels) span so many orders of magnitude. Easy to do when developing, but not very easy on the eyes.

Well, it's not like it's rare for people to have 0.1 dollars. If we assume a gold piece contains a standardized amount of gold, there may be other coinage worth some fraction of a gold piece.
