ToME: the Tales of Maj'Eyal

I have Windows XP Home edition. Every time I download the latest Beta and try to run it on my computer it never loads. The beginning title screen of ToME 4 comes up but the progress bar never goes past 0%. Has anyone else ever had this problem? I can run the game on other computers, just not this one. Does the game require the newest version of flash, shockwave, or other third party program?

I had similar problem with one of my computer. New one, with wide screen monitor. Game started, but hanged soon after.

I tried to find out why and it seems that resolution is reason to blame. I modified resolution to my monitors native resolution and full screen. After that game loads normally. Don't know if this is reason for You, but maybe it will help.

Thanks! That is exactly what the problem was. I dropped down my screen resolution to a different setting and I was able to start the game. From there I was able to change the resolution that the game starts in under options. It works great now!
