Hi, I just downloaded and played beta 28. Played a berserker till level 7. Here are some quick remarks:

3-level dungeons is nice, does not need to be more (at least not at the start).

I entered the first city at night (first I though I was going to get killed by the invasion, turns out it was just night ^_^). I like the new layout, much simpler.

The arena quest was fun, not to hard, and not too long + a nice reward! Very well done, a good fun quest at the start.

New level-up screen: took some time getting used too. I hope new players don't miss the tabs.

I had to search the key bindings to find that 'j' stood for quests.

My berserker is dead now, the new stun will need some time to get used to, I can't just disable that boss anymore ;/.

Overall very good and I can't wait to figure out some more stuff :P.

:)

Stun still reduces damage output by 70% and movement speed by 50%, and healing by 50%, and prevents talents cooling down and puts 4 random talents on a 1 turn cooldown. Still nice :)

The new stun may not look like much but it's really powerful, don't underestimate it. I really don't like the 70% damage reduction, a 50% miss chance would be much more welcome... but I must say that being able to lock cooldowns is SCARY.

The overhead text for the arena quest was quite interesting, since the game lack any other way to indicate that an NPC has a 'quest' for you. Much better than having to randomly bumb into everything. Nice feature.

Yeah, the only reason why I even knew about that quest before is I saw it mentioned in the spoiler forum. Something like this is an improvement.
