Anyway - in tutorial, I wielded a bow and it autohotkeyed the ranged attack. I was able to fire without loading bow.

In game, when I equip ranged weapons, I do not get an autohotkey. Hotkeying weapon is the choice to select it, not use it, and hotkeying and using attack with a ranged weapon equip gets me a game error (which I have sent in). What is I not doing so good?

iirc, only ranged classes (presently Archers and Slingers, and one that you can unlock) start with Shoot. You can buy the Shoot ability from a shop later on in the game if you want to, it'll cost you a little bit of money. If you're an archer or slinger and don't have shoot.. well, then that's probably a bug, yeah.

Ah. I found the infinite ammo listing on my ranged weapons misleading. Live and learn.
