ToME: the Tales of Maj'Eyal

Does anybody else find it kind of amusing/disturbing that in pretty much every zone, the lore scraps on the ground are talking about your predecessors dying?

It's just like, "Hmm. Everywhere I go, everybody has died, unable to solve the mystery/kill the master of this area. Maybe I should turn back? Naaah."

Nah, it's kind of like the ancestor npc information valut. I like it. :D

Now *that* would be really cool, finding random weird notes left behind by my own old dead characters.

...people used to make their own notes while playing roguelikes...
