I have a level 31 Archer with a really good bow (Mighty Dragonbone bow of Power). My question is:-

Do ego arrows add their stats to the bow when fired, or do they replace the unknown stats of the default infinite ammunition?

In this case, is a 51 power bow as above more likely to cause more damage whilst using default ammo or 43 power ego ammo [43 - 61] (not counting ego effects)?

The default ammo will be replaced by the ammo in the quiver, but the additional stats of the bow remain in effect, in this case the bonus to physical damage (Mighty...) and the higher armour piercing rate (...of power).

The default ammo (dragonbone arrows) is usually better than elven-wood arrows (around 15% more damage), but it is possible that some ego elven-wood arrows are better or more useful than the default ammo (e.g. slime-covered ammunition may slow the target).
