Would it make sense for Fighting, or even Waiting, on a Trap Tile to cause it to trigger again?

It would make the game easier, that's for sure. Just find a trap tile and maneuver the opponent onto it, instant DoT.

Hmmmm. True, although I was thinking more about getting stuck on one myself. Perhaps build in something that would monsters avoid Traps or step off of them once triggered. That starts to be a lot more in the way of coding though. If that were the case we woudl get stuck in the situation a lot more often since we have to progress through. Although that is a "Fighter-centric" viewpoint I suppose. Ranged combatants would likely get a significant benefit from anything which might slow monsters down.
By the way... What does "DoT" mean?
